March 15 is commemorated as the World Consumer Rights Day to raise global awareness about consumer rights and needs. Celebrating the day is an opportunity to draw attention to consumer issues globally and demand that their rights are respected and protected. This year's theme is Empowering Consumers Through Clean Energy Transition which is intended to encourage transition to clean energy by improving access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy that will lead to mitigating climate change.
The Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority (CCAA) joins Consumers International and its 200 member organizations across the globe to commemorate World Consumer Rights Day. Given below is the message from the Hon’ble Minister of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce & Employment (MoICE) and a press release to observe this important day.
